Custom metal sliding door and gates for residential properties
La Structural metalwork makes it possible to develop solutions fully adapted to the architecture and personality of each home. Beyond functionality, elements such as doors, entrance gates, and fencing form part of a home’s exterior image, which is why their design is just as important as their strength and durability.
In this project, we developed a sliding door and a set of custom-made metal gates for a single-family home. The goal was clear from the outset: to move away from standard designs and create a personalized solution that combined the elegance of traditional wrought ironwork with a current, balanced aesthetic.
A design created together with the client
Every project begins by listening to the needs and preferences of the people who will live alongside it for years to come. During the design phase, we worked closely with the client to define a proposal that reflected the style of the home and gave the whole ensemble its own character. The intention was to preserve certain ornamental elements inspired by traditional metalwork, while reinterpreting them through cleaner lines and a more contemporary visual composition.
The result is an enclosure that adds personality without feeling overly ornate, blending naturally with the home’s architecture.
Custom fabrication of the sliding door and metal gates
Once the design was finalized, we carried out the complete fabrication of all elements at our facilities. The sliding door was designed to offer smooth, reliable operation while ensuring the security and privacy needed for access to the property. The gates, in turn, maintain complete aesthetic coherence with the rest of the ensemble, incorporating decorative details that add identity without losing a sense of visual lightness. Our in-house fabrication allows us to control every detail of the process and adapt dimensions, finishes, and configurations to the specific needs of each project.

The balance between tradition and contemporary design
One of the most interesting aspects of this project is the combination of two concepts that often seem opposed: classic ornamentation and modern design. The decorative details built into the structure evoke traditional wrought-iron craftsmanship, while the straight lines, the layout of the elements, and the dark-colored finish give it a current, elegant look.
This combination results in a timeless piece that will continue to work aesthetically for many years to come.
