New automated metal sliding gate

At Jinka Diseño we keep growing our portfolio of metalwork and locksmithing projects with new work for private clients. This time we’re sharing one of our latest installations: an automated metal sliding gate designed to provide access to a single-family home with a result that’s as functional as it is stylish.

A Custom-Built Enclosure

The project came from a private client looking to close off access to their property while combining security, durability, and a modern finish that would match the rest of the façade. As with every project, we started by taking on-site measurements and designing the gate to fit the available opening, integrating it with the existing masonry pillars.

Design and Materials

For this project, we went with a sliding gate with a horizontal slat design, a style that has become a favorite among our clients for several reasons.

First, its anthracite grey finish gives it a contemporary look pairs well with almost any type of façade, from exposed brick to more modern cladding.

The material used requires very little maintenance: it doesn’t rust, holds up well against the elements, and keeps its appearance intact for years. Finally, the horizontal slat design provides privacy without sacrificing airflow or natural light, while adding extra structural strength thanks to the internal reinforcement of the panel.

Automation for Everyday Convenience

To make daily access as convenient as possible, we installed a automation motor, allowing the gate to open and close without getting out of the car, with the reliability and quiet operation of a trusted system. It’s a detail that makes a real difference in day-to-day use, and one more clients are requesting as standard on their enclosure projects.
