CUSTOM-MADE PERFORATED METAL DOOR WITH ANTI-PANIC SYSTEM

When we talk about metal carpentry, the quality of a project isn’t measured by its final appearance alone. Structural strength, safety in use and durability all depend on numerous fabrication details that, although not visible at first glance, make all the difference in the final result.

In this project we developed a perforated metal door custom-made to the client’s specifications. The project called for a robust solution with an open design that would allow for ventilation and visibility, while also incorporating an anti-panic system to ensure fast, safe evacuation in the event of an emergency.

The photographs show the finished assembly before installation, including both the door and the structural frame manufactured specifically for this project.

Custom fabrication tailored to the client’s needs

Every metal carpentry project comes with different requirements. In this case, the client needed a heavy-duty door for an industrial environment, capable of delivering security without sacrificing ventilation or ease of use. To meet this need, we designed a reinforced metal structure combined with square perforated sheet metal, achieving a balance between mechanical strength, functionality and aesthetics.

The entire assembly was custom-made in our facilities, adapting dimensions, configuration and finishes to the specific needs of the project.

A fabrication process focused on durability

Fabrication began with the preparation and machining of all metal components, ensuring correct geometry and proper fit between the different parts.

Welding operations were then carried out using suitable processes to guarantee strong, long-lasting joints. Proper weld execution is essential to prevent deformation, extend the assembly’s service life and ensure optimal structural performance for years to come.

Once assembly was complete, the surface was cleaned, inspected and prepared to receive the final finish.

To protect the door against wear and corrosion, a thermosetting powder coating was applied. This system provides high resistance to impact, abrasion, moisture and environmental factors, while also delivering a uniform, high-quality aesthetic finish.

The green color chosen by the client gives the piece a distinctive look without compromising the assembly’s technical performance.
